The HDP private deployment version is currently in the continuous iterative update stage. In addition to synchronizing the function updates of the SaaS version, it will also carry out functional differentiation development and architecture optimization. By default, we only maintain the latest 3 major versions (the third digit of the version number is 0, indicating a major version, and the third digit greater than 0 indicates a repair version based on the major version). Under the same major version, it is recommended to give priority to the version with the largest third digit for upgrade. In addition, we will appropriately extend the support cycle of some historical versions based on the release time of new versions.
For versions that are not within the scope of maintenance, related resources can still be downloaded and existing environments can be used normally. However, if we encounter functional problems, we will no longer repair the current version, but recommend that users upgrade to a maintained version before reporting problems. If there are major problems with the version under maintenance, we will prioritize fixing the problematic version and release a new version.
