ARM Architecture Additional Notes
Microarchitecture Requirements
For the ARM64/AARCH64 architecture, the private deployment edition only supports CPUs based on ARMv8.2-A and later microarchitectures.
Rationale: The private deployment edition depends on the MongoDB database component, which explicitly requires an ARMv8.2-A or later microarchitecture when running on the ARM64 platform. Using CPUs with microarchitectures earlier than ARMv8.2-A will result in MongoDB failing to start properly.
Commonly Supported Domestic ARM CPU Models
- Huawei Kunpeng 920
- Phytium Tengyun S5000C
Explicitly Unsupported ARM CPU Models
The following ARM CPU models do not meet the ARMv8.2-A or later microarchitecture requirement, so the private deployment edition does not support deployment on them:
- Huawei Kunpeng 916
- Phytium Tengyun S2500
- Phytium FT-2000+/64
- Phytium FT-1500A/16
Rancher and RKE2 Support and Compatibility
Nocoly provides commercial support for the HAP product and Nocoly Helm Chart in the validated configuration below to customers with a valid HAP commercial license or entitlement and active support coverage.
| Item | Validated Configuration |
|---|---|
| HAP | 7.3.5 |
| Helm Chart | hap-nocoly-single 7.3.502 |
| Rancher | 2.14.3 |
| RKE2 / Kubernetes | v1.35.6+rke2r1 |
| Operating System | Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS |
| CPU Architecture | x86_64 |
| Deployment Topology | Single node |
| Compatibility Status | Compatibility testing completed |
This configuration has been validated for Chart retrieval and installation, workload startup, NodePort access, dynamic PVC provisioning, basic product operations, and data persistence after workload recreation.
Nocoly is responsible for the HAP product and the Helm Chart maintained by Nocoly, including deployment configuration, product component operation, product defects, and HAP compatibility issues on the declared configuration. Defects in Rancher, RKE2, the operating system, network, or storage platform are handled by the corresponding vendor or infrastructure owner; Nocoly will assist with collecting HAP-side evidence and identifying responsibility boundaries.
For HAP minor and patch releases that do not introduce breaking changes, Nocoly will continue to perform risk assessments and compatibility spot checks. HAP major releases and releases with breaking changes will be reassessed, with SUSE recertification pursued when necessary. If deprecations or incompatibilities are identified, Nocoly will update the published compatibility information and provide upgrade or workaround guidance.
